Puntolingue presents “Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) Course” for teachers who want to learn more about CLIL and how it is being used today. If you are teaching school subjects in English, then this course will provide comprehensive training on the methodology and practice of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) you need in your work.

Who is this course for?

The course targets subject teachers who are interested in learning about the theory and solid methodology which can be applied in a CLIL classroom. The course is aimed at teachers with B1 lower intermediate (CEFR) or above level of English who teach in primary, secondary and vocational sectors.

Course content

The course explores the techniques and methodology underlying CLIL and how it helps students at primary and secondary level to learn English and gain knowledge of curricular subjects by learning those subjects in English. Participants look at the factors to be considered in creating CLIL classes, in particular the selection and adaptation of materials, and the incorporation of activities to maximise learner involvement.

The course will take place on Saturday March 12th from 3:30 to 7:30 pm and Sunday 13th from 9 to 1pm, at Puntolingue school Piazza Vittorio Veneto, Binario1 Stazione FS, Salerno.
