Available online a new national publication for teachers interested in eTwinning: the new Manual to good use! A Practical Guide to start working with the e-twinning of European schools.
Edited by eTwinning National Unit of Indire, the manual completely revises the previous version, including all the news of the renewed eTwinning Live Platform , launched in 2015. The guide is designed especially for users who are starting to take their first steps in eTwinning, providing information, ideas and tips to use the platform at best, describing the methods, the tools and the benefits for education and professional development.
The text is divided into three main sections:
– The first, an introduction, a general overview of eTwinning, describing the characteristics of the action, the network of member countries and local representatives, in addition to the benefits to teachers, schools and pupils;
– The second, more practical, provides all the information on how to register and manage their profile within the community;
– The third, called “eTwinning”, describes in detail the various options available to eTwinners to get in touch with other members, creating educational projects, share ideas and materials, training opportunities and update and the system of awards and prizes.
To facilitate the understanding in the guide you will find pictures and graphics that replicate the form and different screens in the platform and the various steps related to each activity.
The Manual is a new “ally” for newbies to electronic twinning which will be distributed in hard copy at events, seminars and events organized by the National Unity this year.
The publication is downloadable online directly from the page Pubblicazioni Nazionali.
